Robert Mitchell is one of the most exciting and original artists on the British Jazz scene today, Panacea, his most intriguing outfit. With the presence of singer Deborah Jordan, it allows him to explore an interest close to his heart, the song form in jazz and soul music.
Especially for this his first visit to Lincoln, Robert has added the special ingredient of sax star Iain Ballamy. No stranger to the importance of the song in jazz, Iain last appeared here with folk diva June Tabor. Those present will remember what a special night that was.
Panacea makes music that is articulate, authoritative and full of Soul – music for grown-ups.

North Kesteven School, in partnership with artsNK, has worked with local primary schools over 6 weeks in order to create dance pieces for this festival. A celebration of children dancing and the themes surrounding transition to secondary school. Also featuring talented students from Key Stages 3, 4 & 5 at NKSchool.

The BUZZ Club

Returning again to the theatre between the 13th & 15th February, The Buzz Club will present three days of Performing Arts workshops for young people with Additional Needs aged between 9 and 19. Devised and managed by The Rhubarb Theatre Company and BrickBeat Recording Studios these exiting sessions provide open access to Drama, Comedy, Writing and Creating Music and even recording audio plays, books and recordings!
