'Relative Danger' A Triple Bill  -  Retina Dance

A rollercoaster of physical dialogue for five individuals! Starting from a group portrait, the individuals reveal their hidden identities in a cascade of explosive, bizarre and comical movement to music from Jules Maxwell.  The evening will open with a short piece by local dancers, choreographed by Retina during a dance residency. Completing the bill is a fun and interactive lecture-demonstration, where the audience choreographs a dance on the company.

In the beginning turtle was shiny and fast, always impatient, always in a hurry, but then one day he had a terrible accident…  A welcome return for Lempen Puppets with their delightful, new show for family audiences. Join us for an imaginative, evolutionary journey with this most fascinating, ancient creature.

A beautiful heart-warming story about following your dreams, told with shadow puppets, table-top puppets and traditional storytelling.  Age Guide: Everyone aged 5 to 105!

RAF Shades of Blue Orchestra - The Motor Neurone Disease Assoc and RAFA Charity Concert

The Shades of Blue Orchestra formed in 1999 has earned a fine reputation for excellence, and is noted for its interpretation of a wide range of musical styles from the big band standards of Glenn Miller, to funk from Weather Report and more modern numbers from Phil Collins and Robbie Williams. Many of the numbers performed are arranged by the Orchestra’s members, in particular the pianist, Corporal Duncan Opie, who has produced some 20 original arrangements for the Orchestra.
